Ranbir Kapoor to undergo extensive voice & diction training for his portrayal of Lord Rama in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana

After delivering three back-to-back hits with Brahmastra: Part 1 - Shiva, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar and Animal, Ranbir Kapoor is all set to start the shooting of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, where he will portray Lord Rama. While fans are super-excited for this biggie, the lead star is undergoing extensive training on his voice and diction before the film goes on floors.

“Ranbir has a certain baritone and a way of speaking his lines. It is symbolic and if you have even closed your eyes, you can recognise a dialogue purely based on Ranbir’s voice. In ‘Ramayana’, Nitesh wants to make sure Ranbir sounds different from the characters he’s played in the past. Being a versatile actor, Ranbir is enjoying this process of trying something new,” said a source to India Today.

As per the PinkVilla report, Ranbir Kapoor will be staying away from alcohol and meat during the shoot of Ramayana. Sources also informed, “These are not things he would avoid just for his public image, but also as a dedicated actor Ranbir wants to feel as pure and clean as Sri Rama. In any case, Ranbir is not into late nights and wild parties.”
