Sunny Deol to play Lord Hanuman in Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayan' with Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram

Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan is getting bigger day by day. Ranbir Kapoor has been roped in to play Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravana. A report by Pinkvilla now states Sunny Deol has been signed to play Lord Hanuman. “Sunny Deol is all charged up to have gotten once in a lifetime opportunity to play Lord Hanuman. It’s a casting made in heaven, as Lord Hanuman stands for Strength, and who better than Sunny Deol in the present times to play the part with utmost conviction,” a source told the portal. It added, “While Ramayana: Part One features Sunny Deol in a guest appearance, the second and third part of the epic trilogy will have his complete presence. The makers are confident that after Dara Singh, it’s Sunny Deol who would be synonymous with Lord Hanuman in modern times.” Apart from this, Sunny Deol’s line-up includes films like Baap, Surya, Safar, Gadar 3, and Lahore 1947. About Ramayan After Animal, which saw Ranbir Kapoor in a fragile and ferocious character that’s still attracting debatable reactions, he plays what is arguably his most challenging and ambitious character- Lord Ram. He plays this character in Nitesh Tiwari’s magnum opus Ramayan, which will see Yash and Sai Pallavi too. Ranbir Kapoor  to quit alcohol and meat for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan Sources revealed that South beauty Sai Pallavi enjoys a clean, controversy-free image, whereas that is not the case for Rockstar actor  Ranbir Kapoor . Although the Sanju star is not exactly a wild child, he is definitely not Sri Ram in his personal life either. Sources further added that Ranbir Kapoor will be staying away from alcohol and meat during the shoot of Ramayana. Sources also informed, “These are not things he would avoid just for his public image, but also as a dedicated actor Ranbir wants to feel as pure and clean as Sri Rama. In any case, Ranbir is not into late nights and wild parties.”
