While interacting with his fans on Zoom, Ranbir Kapoor has revealed he shall take a break of six months from acting. Reason? He wishes to spend some quality with his daughter Raha. Talking about his daughter, the actor said, “She is crawling. She is recognising. She is giving so much love, and she is trying to speak words like Pa and Ma. But I feel negativity is very important especially if you are an artist and if you have some work out there I think both need to exist because then that creates a balance,” he said. Ranbir went on to add that there are times when many opinions are made about an actor which are untrue. He said, “Recently, I was reading some article about being toxic and something relating to some statement I made and I understand this. And I am on the side of the people who are fighting for the toxic masculinity, if they use me as the face of it, it’s fine because their fight is bigger than just me feeling bad about them having an opinion about what I said.” The actor’s statement came after his wife Alia Bhatt’s ’lipstick’ remark took the internet by storm. Alia had mentioned how Ranbir asked her to wipe her lipstick off as he doesn’t like wearing one. Social media users were quick to label him as a ‘red flag’ for dictating terms to his partner.
