Ram Gopal Varma on the ongoing Sandeep Vanga-Deepika Padukone fiasco over working hours: 'This is all exaggerated and...'

After exiting from Sandeep Reddy Vanga-Prabhas’ biggie Spirit, the latest reports suggest that the actress has taken the same step for Kalki 2898 AD 2.

While the fiasco between  Deepika and Vanga  has been garnering headlines for quite some time, a new report has emerged discussing the actress’s demands for Spirit.

“The actor had reportedly demanded ₹25 crores for approximately 35 days of shoot, along with a 10% profit share, extensive entourage expenses, and even expressed unwillingness to deliver dialogues in Telugu—something the director felt strongly about. To top it off, confidential plot details from Spirit were allegedly leaked, which raised serious concerns among the producers," the source told News18.

Now, after half of the industry, Ram Gopal Varma also had a say- “The whole thing (between Deepika and Sandeep) was a very exaggerated thing in my opinion. Because I can say, I want to work for 23 hours, and the actor can say I want to work only for one hour.”

The filmmaker added, “That’s their call. But how can one human being force another human being to do something? And they can agree to work or not work with each other… But that thing was just kind of blown up in the media.”

RGV also said, “The director might need a particular light. He might want some combination of another actor, or maybe the location is not available. There are too many factors which can factor in.”
