As per the reports, Netflix had purchased the rights to stream Jawan while fans were still enjoying the picture in theatres. Jawan reportedly sold for a whopping Rs. 250 crores for its satellite rights, which included digital rights, satellite broadcasting rights, and music rights.
Experts are speculating that considering that Pathan came on OTT platforms 56 days after its theatrical run, it’s possible that Jawan might grace the digital screens around the end of October or the beginning of November (mostly near Diwali) this year. However, the official date has not been confirmed by the creators yet.
OTT rights of _Jawan_ have been sold to Netflix for a staggering amount of Rs 250 crore. A report in Free Press Journal states that the makers have already signed the dotted line with an OTT giant for the film’s screening. An official announcement is expected by end of this month or in October first week.
