Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna has once again been caught on camera slapping a fan , after the man accidentally pushed up against him during a political rally.
Balakrishna was on a door-to-door campaign in the Anatpur district (Andhra Pradesh) for the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP), of which he is a senior leader. The incident took place when Balakrishna was out campaigning in Hindupur. The video was apparently clicked by a bystander from a terrace nearby, and been shared extensively on social media.
Incidentally, this is not the first time that the actor has made headlines for his misconduct, after repeated instances of him misbehaving with people have surfaced from time to time.
The actor reportedly slapped an excited fan in Nandyal, after people were offering him garlands and trying to get photographs clicked with the star. Balakrishna is also said to have slapped a fan of his who was trying to click a selfie with him when he visted the Tirumala temple.
Another reported case of misconduct was when the Telugu actor misbehaved with his assistant on the sets of the movie Jai Simha, slapping him and making him tie his shoe laces.
In 2004 the actor was reportedly accused of shooting a producer in his house, with the star claiming it was self-defense. The producer allegedly retracted his statement and said he was not shot at, which led to Balakrishna’s acquittal.
