Nalli Silks, a prominent clothing brand, came under fire on social media for its latest advertisement. The ad film, which featured a model exuding traditional vibes in a beautiful saree, is facing flak on the Internet. The model’s ethnic ensemble was paired with minimum jewellery and complementary makeup, but she was not wearing a bindi which led to several raised eyebrows. The _bindi_ is a symbol of good luck and prosperity. Seeing the outrage, the clothing brand shared a new ad film with models donning beautiful bindis. They shared the commercial on Instagram. Even a traditional firm like Nalli is using a model who is not wearing a bindi and looking morose. Doesn’t look like a celebration.” “First of all wear a Bindi. Nalli!
