Veteran actress Moushumi Chatterjee recently spoke of Amitabh Bachchan’s stardom and how it changed him as a person. Chatterjee, who shared screen space with Big B in Narendra Bedi’s Benaam (1974), Manoj Kumar’s Roti Kapda Aur Makaan (1974) and Basu Chatterjee’s  Manzil (1979), revealed that Amitabh struggled a lot during the initial years of his career.

However, after becoming a superstar, Big B’s behaviour changed, hinted Moushumi Chatterjee. “Amitabh Bachchan struggled a lot and became big after a lot of hard work. But I won’t say if he became big for the better. When you receive so much, you behave very differently. You won’t even be able to think about helping others. His brother Ajitabh used to arrange for a car which would pick up Bachchan from the sets. He used to be a very quiet person, sitting alone and having lunch with the hairdresser," said the legendary actress to Anandabazar Patrika in Bengali.
