Feige revealed that the title of the upcoming Avengers film had been finalised during the making of Avengers: Infinity War and was therefore, mentioned by Doctor Strange in one of the sequences. He also reassured fans that the marketing material of Endgame, including the trailer,  will not reveal anything substantial about the fate of the superheroes involved and will only reflect the first 15 minutes of the film. With innumerable fan theories already doing the rounds, Feige maintained that releasing the movie in theatres without giving away a lot of secrets would be “ideal”. The impending Disney-Fox merger, according to Feige, would open a whole new universe of stories to choose from. He showed his excitement for the brand new roster of superheroes and villains, including Silver Surfer. He said Vice director Adam McKay should be the person to direct the film on Silver Surfer if the project ever materialises. “He is not only an incredibly smart guy, he’s an honest to goodness fan,” he said. With the fate of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 becoming uncertain with the exit of director James Gunn, speculations about the future of the franchise have also been rife. However, Feige confirmed that the film will be made and announcements will be made soon. He also said he has no apprehensions about Gunn going over to DC in order to direct the sequel to Suicide Squad.
