Kusha Kapila reveals she was bullied while sharing news of her divorce with Zorawar Ahluwalia

Kusha Kapila took everyone by surprise when she announced her separation from her husband Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia back in June this year after almost five years of marriage. She was recently a part of the India Today conclave. During the event, the influencer made a big revelation saying that she was completely bullied into sharing the news of her separation from Zorawar Ahluwalia. However, she further claimed that now, she feels happy that she took the necessary steps.

She said, I was honestly bullied into sharing my personal news. This is the first time I’m sharing that. I was 100% bullied into sharing it. But I’m glad I shared it on my own terms. I did not want anyone else sharing information about my life with the world, without consulting with me first. You have to put on blinders."

Kusha Kapila further said that she was also subjected to a massive amount of trolling after she made her divorce public. She revealed that she used to cry around 30 minutes a day and had even set aside specific time to feel bad for herself. The diva further added that now she has moved on as she feels that there is a lot more to do in life.

Refreshing your memory, the social media influencer was in the news for her alleged link-up with actor Arjun Kapoor. However, she later denied any such speculations.

Kusha Kapila announces divorce from husband Zorawar

The social media personality shared the news of her divorce through a social media post that read, “Zorawar and I have mutually decided to part ways. This hasn’t been an easy decision by any measure but we know it’s the right one at this point in our lives. The love and life we have shared together continues to mean everything for us, but sadly, what we seek currently for ourselves doesn’t align. We gave it our all, until we couldn’t anymore.”

Kusha Kapil’s professional commitments

Kusha Kapila has recently shifted her focus to acting. She last appeared on the big screens with the comedy, Thank You for Coming. Made under the direction of Karan Boolani, the movie enjoys an interesting cast with Bhumi Pednekar, Shehnaaz Gill, Dolly Singh and Shibani Bedi. The project reached the cinema halls today, 6 October.

Financed by Balaji Motion Pictures in collaboration with Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Network, the film talks about a Delhi girl, Kanika who is (Bhumi Pednekar) seeking some new experiences in life.

Prior to this, Kusha Kapila has starred in the Netflix anthology Ghost Stories, Plan A Plan B, Selfiee, Sukhee and Masaba Masaba.
