Koffee With Karan 8: Karan Johar reveals how Deepika Padukone started crying after Shah Rukh Khan's birthday in 2017

The recent episode of Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan 8 wasn’t only about mush and romance. the host and filmmaker revealed how Deepika Padukone started crying after Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday in 2017. He revealed, “‘I remember holding her hand right through. She (Deepika) just cried, I looked and thought ‘I don’t even know how this feels’… till it happened to me.”

Johar revealed that he had a ‘’legit attack’’ at the NMACC launch event. “The legit attack I had was at the NMACC launch. I remember Varun Dhawan was staring at me. I was sweating. I didn’t even realise my face was full of sweat. Varun came and he was like, ‘Are you okay?’ My hands were shaking. And then he took me to an empty room. I first thought if it was a cardiac arrest.’’ Will Shah Rukh Khan grace the couch this year? At the recently conducted Pinkvilla Masterclass, when a member of the audience asked Johar about it, the director said, “Shah Rukh is there, but I don’t think he wants to be in the forefront. He deserves his silence. As fans and filmmakers, we should give him that.”

Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan  have been the best of friends. Their collaborations in Bollywood have always resulted in something extraordinary.
