Will Shah Rukh Khan appear on 'Koffee With Karan 8'? Karan Johar says 'Don't think he wants to be in the forefront'

The first episode of the first season of Koffee With Karan had Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol grace the couch. The first episode of second season had the two along with Rani Mukerji. In the third season, the Jawan star was all alone and then had the company of Alia Bhatt in season five. It has been a while since he came on the show. Will he grace the couch in Season 8? At the recently conducted Pinkvilla Masterclass, when a member of the audience asked Johar about it, the director said, “Shah Rukh is there, but I don’t think he wants to be in the forefront. He deserves his silence. As fans and filmmakers, we should give him that.” Back in 2021, his son Aryan Khan was arrested by NCB in the Mumbai-cruise drugs case. He spent almost a month in the Arthur Road jail and was released on bail. Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan have been the best of friends. Their collaborations in Bollywood have always resulted in something extraordinary. Now, in a podcast ‘We Are Yuvaa‘, Karan Johar has revealed the name of his go-to person whenever he wanted to discuss his struggles related to sexuality. And, it was none other than his bosom friend, King Khan. What Karan Johar said Karan Johar, who never shied away from talking about his sexuality, said, “He was born and brought up in a very progressive environment. He comes from theatre. He had worked with all kinds of people. My parents, perhaps, weren’t able to understand things. My feminine side that was coming out so strongly was only met with laughter or with being made fun of. When I grew older, people became quieter about it.
