Ahead of the release of the poster, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Hansal Mehta’s The Buckingham Murders opened the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2023. The red carpet of the film festival witnessed the presence of Hansal Mehta, Ash Tandon, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ektaa R Kapoor, Ranveer Brar and Prabhleen Sandhu. Moreover, the film has also introduced Kareena Kapoor Khan as a co-producer.
Now, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has shared an Instagram story and lauded the actress’ performance in The Buckingham Murders, helmed by Hansal Mehta. Taking to Instagram Stories, Anurag Kashyap wrote, “Kareena Kapoor’s best performance ever in this moody film about loss and grief, and murder, by Hansal Mehta.” Apart from acting in the film, Kareena will debut as a producer alongside Ektaa Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. The makers dropped the first official look poster of The Buckingham Murder last week. Kareena appeared fierce in the monochromic picture while some authoritative figures tried their best to pull her back. What Kareena Kapoor said on The Buckingham Murders Speaking about the film, Kareena Kapoor said that The Buckingham Murders was extremely special for her as it was her maiden venture as a co-producer. She added that working with Hansal Mehta and Ektaa Kapoor was deeply satisfying and an immersive experience. Kareena Kapoor was last seen in Jaane Jaan opposite Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma. The thriller released on 21 September on Netflix.
