Indian cinema’s biggest and most awaited release of the year, the sci-fi epic ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, helmed by Nag Ashwin, features Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani in pivotal roles. A grand event was recently held in Mumbai to launch the second trailer of the film where Bachchan apologized to Prabhas for this reason.
“When Nagi came to talk to me about this, he just brought a picture, a visual of what my character is going to look like and what Prabhas is going to look like. And I was this huge guy who’s shoving off ‘THE’ Prabhas. And al the fans of Prabhas, please, you know, please excuse me. Main haath jod ke maafi maang rahe hai, don’t massacre me after you see what I do," Bachchan said. “ They are all your fans too," the Baahubali star quipped.
