Jacqueline Fernandez, who had her breakthrough role in Bollywood with 2011 film Murder 2, appears to be preparing for a Hollywood project. In the latest, the 38-year-old posted a picture alongside action star Jean-Claude Van Damme from Italy. Her Dishoom co-star Varun Dhawan appreciated the actress for ‘always scaling new heights and breaking boundaries’ in Instagram Stories. Not just this, Jean-Claude Van Damme, known as ‘Muscles from Brussels’. also shared a joint post with the actress on his Instagram handle. Varun Dhawan last appeared in Nitesh Tiwari’s romantic drama Bawaal, co-starring Janhvi Kapoor. The film, which was released in July this year, was mired in controversy over trivialising Holocaust victims’ suffering.
The 36-year-old will next appear in VD18, a film produced by Atlee and directed by Kalees. It will also star Wamiqa Gabbi in a pivotal role.
Jacqueline Fernandez, on the other hand, was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s 2022 comedy, Cirkus opposite Ranveer Singh. In the latest, the actress is gearing up for a film called Fateh with Sonu Sood.
