Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain were among the most talked about contestants on Bigg Boss 17. While their constant fights, arguments, and accusations against each other remained a major highlight on the show since day one, their mothers’ entry into the house took things to the next level, however, only for the worse. Ankita Lokhande’s mother Vandana Lokhande and Vicky Jain’s mother Ranjana Jain entered Bigg Boss 17 during a Family Special week and were seen talking to the couple about their relationship being shown in a negative light on national television. However, it was Ankita’s mother-in-law’s statement inside the house and even after coming out that made all the news.
From claiming that her daughter-in-law was using her ex, Sushant Singh Rajput’s name for sympathy to blaming her for their fights on the show, the actress’ mother-in-law through multiple interviews made controversial statements regarding Ankita which left fans quite upset. A section of fans were also seen slamming Vicky Jain for not taking a a support for his wife.
After all the criticism and backlash from fans, Vicky Jain finally broke his silence on his mother’s controversial comments. In a recent interview, Vicky while explaining that it was his mother’s emotions that made her give such reactions, he further clarified that he and Ankita are back home and things have been resolved.
‘Her words were wrong but it was a mother’s emotion’
Talking to the outlet, Vicky Jain said, “It was her emotions that made her give such reactions. But the words she used were not right. Our families saw us and heard us. They are both connected to us. They could see that we were facing issues but they could not talk to us nor could understand it. The reaction should not have come out that way but it happened because of the emotions.”
In another interview with Pinkvilla, Vicky was seen explaining that it was an emotional situation where their families were not able to connect with them which is why such reactions came out.
The comments come days after Vicky Jain shared an appreciative post for his wife Ankita Lokhande on social media, stating that she made the Jain and the Lokhande families feel proud. He lauded the Pavitra Rishta actress for her game and performance on the show, adding that everyone feels proud of her.
