Anirudh Ravichander, who recently scored music for Rajinikanth’s
Petta
has now boarded the technical crew of Kamal Haasan’s upcoming film Indian 2
. According to an
India Today

commence from 14 December
and will also mark the reunion of the actor and director Shankar. The project will be financed by Lyca Productions, making this their second collaboration with Shankar after the blockbuster

. Indian 2 was first announced on the finale of Bigg Boss Tamil, hosted by Haasan. It will be a follow up of the Indian, which released in 1996. The actor will be reprising his role as Senapathy in the sequel. Indian originally starred Manisha Koirala and Urmila Matondkar in the lead roles along with Goundamani, Senthil, Nedumudi Venu, Kasturi, Sukanya, and Crazy Mohan as the supporting cast. Haasan essayed the role of a 70-year-old freedom fighter who turns vigilante to battle crime and corruption. He played a dual role of a father and son in the film.
