The pop star shared the news on Instagram with a photo of herself holding the newborn and a second image of tiny pink boxing gloves, confirming the name and date. The announcement follows the couple’s May 2025 Met Gala reveal that they were expecting.

Rihanna was trolled and body shamed by an army of trolls on social media and reacting to the same, Cruz has stood by the pop star on Instagram as one of her stories read- “ Rihanna refused to hide her post-pregnancy body, and it makes people furious. This makes me so mad.”

The actress also wrote- “She’s a powerful woman! She made a whole baby and birthed that baby and is feeding and keeping that baby alive and healthy, yet the question is ‘hmm why hasn’t she bounced back yet?’ Bloody infuriating unrealistic expectations.”
