'I proposed to her in 2015,' reveals Ranveer Singh about Deepika Padukone on 'Koffee With Karan 8'

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are all set to be the first guests of Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan 8. A fan-club of the actress has shared the first promo on social media. The couple could be seen having a lot of fun and Singh even revealed he proposed to his wife back in 2015. The show streams on Disney Plus Hotstar from next weekend. Here’s the promo:

Ranveer and Deepika have starred together in films like Bajirao Mastani, Ram-Leela, Padmaavat, and 83. They did a song together last year for Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus too. Coming to the show, Deepika first graced the couch back in 2007 with Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan on season two ahead of her debut release’s Om Shanti Om. She then came on the show with Sonam Kapoor , Priyanka Chopra, and Alia Bhatt in the respective seasons. Ranveer, on the other hand, came for the first with Anushka Sharma on season three, and then with Arjun Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, and then Alia Bhatt. Karan Johar on Koffee With Karan In an exclusive interview with Firstpost, the filmmaker and host told the publication last year, “It’s been a long journey, I never thought I would get this far, 18 years of hosting the show, seven seasons. When I started, I thought I was doing something just for fun, I was doing something for my own amusement, I can’t believe it became such a thing.
