Hailey Bieber says she’s taking it ‘One Kid at a Time’ while planning bigger family with Justin Bieber

Hailey Bieber has opened up about her plans to expand her family with husband Justin Bieber, revealing that while she does want more children, she is choosing to move forward at her own pace. The model and entrepreneur said she is “taking it one kid at a time,” as she embraces motherhood and navigates life with their 16-month-old son, Jack Blues.

Speaking on Jake Shane’s Therapuss podcast, Hailey shared her thoughts on having more children and the unpredictability that comes with parenthood. “I definitely want… I’m taking it one kid at a time,” she said. “I definitely do want one more. I’m not in a rush, but I definitely want one more. Maybe I’ll have four more. Maybe I’ll have three. I don’t know, I really don’t know. I’m just taking it one day at a time.”

Hailey added that motherhood has been a joyful and transformative experience for her. “It is so fun. I always knew I wanted kids; I always wanted to be a mom,” she said, reflecting on her journey since welcoming Jack in August 2024. She admitted she was surprised by how calm she has felt as a first-time parent, saying, “I feel like I’m a lot more relaxed as a mom than I thought I would be.”

The Rhode founder also shared adorable updates about her toddler, revealing that Jack has already started talking and showing signs of musical and athletic interests. “Yeah, he does. He’s been saying, ‘Baby, oh baby, oh baby oh,’” Hailey said, referring to Justin Bieber’s hit song Baby. She added that her son is picking up words like “basketball” and “please,” and is even learning American Sign Language.

Hailey described watching Jack grow and develop his personality as one of the most rewarding parts of motherhood, calling it “so much fun” and deeply fulfilling.
