While actress Nushrratt Bharuccha’s return from war-hit Israel came as a good news, Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor were summons by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Here are the top 6 newsmakers of Bollywood from the week gone-by: ED summons Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor On 6 October, Ranbir Kapoor was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case related to Mahadev Online Book gaming-betting app. The Times of India reported quoting sources that the actor had promoted one of the Mahadev Group’s gaming-betting apps. Ranbir was called to help investigate the source of money he received for the promotion. On the same day, Shraddha Kapoor was also asked to be present for questioning in relation to the Mahadev betting app case. ED has also summoned other celebrities including comedian Kapil Sharma, actresses Huma Qureshi and Hina Khan. Mahadev Online Book is headed by Dubai-based Chandrakar and Uppal - both natives of Chhattisgarh’s Bhilai. Nushrratt Bharuccha’s return from Israel Nushrratt Bharuccha, who was struck in war-battered Israel, returned home on 9 October. The actress was in the country to attend the Haifa International Film Festival. Following assistance from the Indian embassy in Israel, Nushrat could board a connecting flight via Abu Dhabi. Gayatri Joshi’s car accident Gayatri Joshi was in Italy with her husband Vikas Oberoi when the accident took place. The multiple-vehicle collision occurred when a Ferrari and a Lamborghini tried to overtake a camper van at the same time. This resulted in overturning of the van and one of the cars catching fire. The mishap also left a Swiss couple dead. Anushka Sharma’s rumoured second pregnancy Social media is abuzz with reports on whether Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are expecting a second child. Anushka and Virat welcomed their first baby - daughter Vamika - in 2021. Speculations over the second kid started doing rounds after the couple was spotted outside a maternity clinic by paparazzi.
