A slap by Shah Rukh Khan
It was reported that Shah Rukh Khan slapped the singer at a concert for his alleged misbehavior and the event was also graced by Deepika Padukone. It was during the release of Chennai Express. The singer denied the incident though
Domestic violence charges by wife
His ex-wifeShalini Talwar accused him of harassment and filed a petition under Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act. She also allegedly harassed and abused her mentally, sexually and financially. Again, the singer termed the allegations false and malicious.
Lewd lyrics
His songs and lyrics have always been controversial and debatable. The singer was booked under Sections 292, 293 (obscenity) of IPC and Sections 67, 67A of Information Technology Act for the same. The complaint was filed by Anandpal Singh Jabbal.
His bipolar disorder
In an interview, the singer revealed he was not in rehab as reported by many websites. He said, “The truth is I was suffering from bipolar disorder. It went on for 18 months, during which I changed four doctors, the medication wasn’t working on me and crazy things were happening.”
Feud with Badshah
Rapper Badshah and Honey Singh were taking digs at each other. It all began when Honey Singh called himself a Rolls Royce and Badshah a Tata Nano. The rapper quipped Nano was far more visible than a Rolls Royce.
