Dunki Drop One: Shah Rukh Khan gifts fans the beautiful glimpse of the Rajkumar Hirani directorial on 58th birthday

Shah Rukh Khan has had a triumphant year at the box-office in 2023. After the historic success of Pathaan and Jawan, the third release of Khan will be Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. This has been one of the most anticipated films of the year as it marks the first collaboration of Khan and Hirani, something that has been waiting to happen since 2003. On the actor’s 58th birthday, he has gifted fans with the beautiful teaser of his film that also stars Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, and Boman Irani. Here is the teaser:

Just as Shah Rukh Khan’s film Jawan made waves with its unit named as ‘”prevue”, the buzz is that most likely even _Dunki_ will have a unique name for its next unit which is all set to be unveiled tomorrow on SRK’s bday! On Jawan, this clever choice of terminology sparked a tremendous buzz and conversation surrounding the film’s promotion and saw many other films following suit. The anticipation is building, and fans are on the edge of their seats, eager to witness the magic as one of the most endearing collaborations between SRK and Hirani unfolds tomorrow! No one knows what is being unveiled or what will be the unit called, however speculations ae rife that it will be called something unique and is bound to be heart-warming like everything else in Rajkumar Hirani’s world of films. Treating his Insta family last year, Shah Rukh dropped a video, wherein he expressed his happiness that the _Dunki_ team was able to finish the shoot on time and talked about his experience of shooting in Saudi. The actor conveyed special thanks to Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Culture and Films for permitting the crew to shoot at “spectacular locations”. While sharing the video, The Veer-Zaara actor wrote in the caption, “A very big Shukran to Saudi Arabia Ministry Of Culture, the team and all who made this shoot schedule of Dunki so smooth…” Dunki is being produced by Jio Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment and Rajkumar Hirani Films. It stars Shah Rukh Khan alongside Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal and Satish Shah among others. A comedy film, Dunki is slated to premiere in December around Christmas and New Year. Among the key places where the film has been shot include London, Budapest, Jeddah and Neom. The film’s plot revolves around the use of an illegal backdoor route called ‘Donkey Flight‘ by Indians, in order to immigrate to countries like Canada and the USA.
