Kangana Ranaut and Richa Chadha starred together in the 2020 sports drama Panga. Three years later, the Fukrey star seems to have taken a dig at Ranaut and the debacle of her recent film Tejas. In a post that has now been deleted, Chadha wrote on X- Karma is real.
Netizens felt it was about Ranaut and nothing else. Here are few reactions to the tweet:
What happened with _Tejas_? The film earned merely Rs 5 crore in 5 days and has become a forgettable affair at the ticket windows. While _Tejas_ is expected to end its theatrical run in its second week itself, here are some of the reasons, the film failed to strike a chord with the audience. In fact, Vikrant Massey’s 12th Fail, which released simultaneously with Kangana’s film, has performed much better at the box office. A few days back, the actress shared a video on X (formerly known as Twitter) inviting her fans to watch Tejas and wrote, “Even before covid theatrical footfalls were dipping drastically post covid it has become seriously rapid. Many theatres are shutting down and even after free tickets and many reasonable offers drastic footfall decline is continuing. Requesting people to watch films in theatres and enjoy with family and friends or else they (theatres) won’t be able to survive. Thanks.” Ranaut’s film _Tejas_ is currently running in the cinemas and even though the collections may have been dismal, the actress seems to be unperturbed. She held a special screening of the Air Force drama for Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The actress shared pictures on her social media account where she could be seen hosting the UP CM for a special screening of her film. She wrote- “Today hosted a screening of #tejas a film based on a soldier / Martyr’s life for honourable Chief Minister @myogiadityanath ji. As you can see in the first picture Maharaj ji couldn’t hold back his tears in the last monologue of Tejas.” Read all the Latest News, Trending News, Cricket News, Bollywood News, India News and Entertainment News here.
