It was raining films at the box-office this Friday. The two anticipated films were Kangana Ranaut’s Tejas and Vikrant Massey’s 12th Fail, directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The box-office numbers are out; where Ranaut’s aerial drama has minted approx. Rs 1.14 crore at the box-office, Massey’s drama has collected around Rs 1 crore. Firstpost on Tejas Reviewing the film, Firstpost observed- “Unlike Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Kangana Ranaut’s Tejas is not based on a real character. The movie takes time to pick up and it actually does in the second half and that too gradually. Kangana’s performance is gripping and she has mastered the tough drills of an air force officer with perfection. Tejas clearly shows right from the beginning, that those who are brave enough to disregard rules can do well in life. Firstpost on 12th Fail Firstpost wrote about the film- “Yes, this is an underdog story, just like Super 30 and Chhichhore, which were also sourced from real life people and incidents. But the lines are not your usual Hindi film dialogues that reek of pretense, they smell of everydayness we encounter in our daily routines. There are some dramatic confrontations, especially the one between Massey and a police officer. He warns him of the consequences and says with a booming voice he hails from Chambal and will get him suspended once he comes an IPS.” Read all the Latest News , Trending News , Cricket News , Bollywood News , India News and Entertainment News here.
