Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Kiernan Shipka wraps filming season two of Netflix series

Kiernan Shipka has finished shooting for the second season of _Chilling Adventures of Sabrina_ . The 19-year-old actor, who plays teenage witch Sabrina Spellman in the Netflix series, took to Instagram on Saturday to share the news. “That’s season a WRAP on @sabrinanetflix!” Shipka captioned the photo in which she can be seen with her on-screen pet black cat, Salem.

The actor had announced in October that the filming of the show’s next installment was already underway. “We went straight into the second season from the first and it’s been really so exceptionally fun to film, especially given the fact that I feel like we’re already in such a rhythm from coming out of the first season that to jump right into the second one was really, really fun and just a great opportunity to keep the momentum going. We definitely… Sabrina definitely changes and shifts a lot. Her growth is very evident and the second season definitely has a different spin on it than the first season. They’re very different from each other,” Shipka had said in an interview earlier . Like its first installment, season two will also have 10 episodes, which premieres 5 April, 2019. Chilling Adventures… season one started streaming on Netflix from 26 October. Two more seasons with 16 episodes in total have been ordered and will begin production next year.
