Karan Johar reveals he signed Kartik Aaryan for a three film deal in 2017 but it never took off

Karan Johar reveals he signed Kartik Aaryan for a three film deal in 2017 but it never took off

During a recent interaction between Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan on a television reality show, it has been revealed that the actor was signed by Johar for three films last year but none of the projects took off. Facebook[/caption] The Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor, who appeared on India’s Next Superstar, to promote his next film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety along with his team, said he had auditioned for every Karan Johar film last year and it is his dream to work with him. “Like every other actor, my dream is to work with Karan,” he said, as quoted by DNA. In response, Johar said that Kartik was signed by Dharma Productions last November but the deal did not work out, as stated in the same report. Though the projects with Dharma Productions did not work, Kartik seems to have no regret and still shares a good bond with Johar. Kartik Aryan also Tweeted a picture from the sets of the reality show that has Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty as the judges.

_Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety_ , directed by Luv Ranjan, also stars Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh. It is co-produced by Ranjan, and Bhushan and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series. It is slated to release on 23 February, along with Chakri Toleti’s comedy ensemble Boom Boom In New York .
