Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan turned 43 today on 21 September. To mark the moment, actress Alia Bhatt who enjoys a close bond with her sister-in-law shared a throwback picture with the Jaane Jaan star. The Gangubai Kathiawadi star chose an unseen photograph from her wedding with Ranbir Kapoor for the special occasion. The _Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani_ actress, who never misses a chance to praise Kareena, also penned a heartwarming caption. “To the ultimate queeeeeeeen..happy birthday bebo..love youuuuuu," the note read.

Each other’s cheerleaders
Both Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan are each other’s biggest cheerleaders. The two have often expressed their love for one another. While the Highway star has often acknowledged Kareena as her favourite actor since childhood, Kareena, on her part, has called Alia the finest actor in the last decade.
While the two haven’t shared screen time yet, Kareena and Alia had a role in the 2016 film, Udta Punjab. Both actors also recently expressed a desire to work together.
Work Front
Work-wise, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s birthday marks her OTT debut with Netflix’s Jaane Jaan. The thriller, directed by Sujoy Ghosh, is based on the 2005 novel, The Devotion of Suspect X. It also stars Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat in prominent roles. Apart from that, the Jaane Jaan star also has Hansal Mehta’s untitled next in her bag.
Bollywood’s Poo was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha with Aamir Khan. In addition, she also has Rhea Kapoor’s The Crew, starring Tabu, Kriti Sanon and Diljit Dosanjh. The film is slated to hit theatres on 22 March, 2024.
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt is basking in the unprecedented success of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani directed by Karan Johar. She was last seen in Netflix’s Heart of Stone. The actress is also set to star in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa, with Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif.
Alia was felicitated with the Best Actress honour at the 69th National Film Awards for her film, Gangubai Kathiawadi.
