2.0 box office collection: Hindi version of Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar’s sci-fi film crosses Rs 100 cr mark

Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar’s sci-fi thriller  _ 2.0 ’s_ Hindi version has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office. According to trade analysts, the film will be Kumar’s highest grossing film even before the first week of its release concludes. Trade analysts also mentioned that the film’s Hindi version successfully crossed the crucial Monday test and earned in double digits on a weekday without any change in the ticket rates.

A follow up to Rajinikanth’s 201o film _Enthiran_ , 2.0 has also managed to gross Rs 400 crore worldwide on the opening weekend from all three language versions - Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. The film has been bankrolled by Lyca Productions and directed by Shankar.
