You know its summer when the ‘awards’ buzz is in the air.
And amongst the most revered of them are the D&AD awards, whose rigorous judging process sets it apart from any other. This year, D&AD will replicate the same benchmarks here in India, for which it has teamed up with Kyoorius to launch the Kyoorius Advertising Awards.
Spanning 34 categories, the awards have no winning tier structure - there’s no gold, silver or bronze - and it’s the jury’s prerogative to award one or multiple Blue Elephants in each category. Led by BBH’s Roasie Arnold, the 8 member jury comprises a mix of Indian and global creatives, two of whom we will meet every week.
This week, we have Abhijit Avasthi, national creative director, Ogilvy & Mather and Sonal Dabral, chief creative officer, DDB Mudra.
