 "It's official! Ranveer Singh, Vaani Kapoor's 'Befikre' to hit screens on 9 December")
Mumbai: Filmmaker Aditya Chopra’s much-anticipated directorial comeback Befikre, starring Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor, will hit theatres on 9 December, 2016.
Ranveer and Vaani shared the release date of the romance in a short video shared on Youtube. The actress first revealed the date in French, which the Bajirao Mastani star then translates in Hindi.
The film will be shot in Paris, France.
Aditya announced his return to direction with Befikre - Those Who Dare To Love on his father Yash Chopra’s 83rd birth anniversary on 27 September, 2015. Aditya’s last directorial venture was the Shah Rukh Khan-Anushka Sharma-starrer Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi which released in 2008.
The 27-year-old Vaani Kapoor made her Bollywood debut with the Yash Raj Films’ production Shuddh Desi Romance. She had said late last year that Aditya called her to tell her that he is casting her in Befikre. “I had no idea whether to start jumping around there or break down crying or keep myself composed. It has still not sunk in.”
