After **launching** the new facelifted Skoda Octavia in India, there is now another variant of the Octavia is on its way. Cartoq spotted a Skoda Octavia RS model in India which features an sporty body kit, one that will help it differeniate itself from the standard outgoing model. To add to this the specifications of the RS model are now finally out.
According to the blog, the Skoda Octavia RS is already available at dealerships and bookings for the same have also opened. What has yet to be disclosed is the price tag.
The RS will be offered in a total of 4 colours, Candy White, Corrida Red, Steel Grey and Race Blue.
Coming to the specifications, the **Skoda Octavia RS** will only be offered in a petrol version. That would be a 2.0 litre TSI engine which pumps out 230 PS and will be offered with a 6-speed DSG transmission.
The car will arrive with an interior that is similar to the top of the line Octavia model with 17 inch alloy wheels.
Apart from the RS, Skoda is also expected to launch a Laurin and Klement (L&K) variant of the Octavia. The L&K trim will be offered in white and a Quartz Grey finish and will be available from October 2017.
