Kriti Sanon may be cast opposite Aditya Roy Kapur in sequel of Mohit Suri's Ek Villain

After the recent reports  of Aditya Roy Kapur coming on board for Mohit Suri’s next, a sequel to his 2014 hit Ek Villain, Kriti Sanon has been cast opposite Aditya, as reported by DNA. Facebook[/caption] A fresh pair for Ek Villain 2 had left no scope for Shraddha Kapoor to star in Suri’s next. The same report states that  Kriti and her team have verbally given the nod to the film. But they are yet to lock the dates and sign on the dotted line. Kriti will give her dates once she is back from Chandigarh where she’s shooting for Arjun Patiala. The hunt for the second male lead is still on. Mohit’s venture should roll in the next few months. While Aditya has had no releases after  Ok Jaanu last year, he is speculated to be part of Dharma Productions’ Shiddat, alongside Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt. Late actress Sridevi was also rumoured to be a part of this Abhishek Varman cross-border period romance. Kriti, on the other hand, is rumoured to be on board a Phantom project along with Taapsee Pannu in the female-led Womaniya. She also has Diljit Dosanjh starrer   _Arjun Patiala_  where she plays a journalist. It is slated to release in September.
