Dharmendra in hospital, to undergo shoulder surgery, says Hema Malini

Mumbai: Veteran actress Hema Malini has said that her husband, actor Dharmendra, who was hospitalised following weakness and shoulder pain, will undergo a surgery.

The 79-year-old actor was admitted to a hospital here on 27 May.

“Just an update on Dharamji. He got admitted to Breach Candy to check his blood count as he felt tired all the time and to check his shoulder pain,” Malini posted on twitter on Friday.

The actress and BJP politician revealed Dharmendra is currently under observation and asked fans to pray for his speedy recovery.

“His haemoglobin count was a bit low so he was anaemic. Under observation now and he may have a shoulder surgery a little later. Pray he is ok fast,” Malini added.

Earlier, Dharmendra’s daughter Esha Deol took to twitter to assure fans that her father is “fit and fine.”

“Thank you all for your concern! My dad is fit and fine,” the “Dhoom” actress posted on twitter.
