Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has flagged the inefficiency of the West in starving Russia of supplies to make missiles and drones and said that Russian weapons continue to have parts from American, British, German, and other Western suppliers.

In a post on X, Zelenskyy said that 549 Russian weapons involved in Russia’s overnight attack on Sunday had 102,785 foreign-made components from companies in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Japan, South Korea, China, and Taiwan.

Overall, nearly 100,688 of foreign-made parts were in drones, about 1,500 were in Iskander missiles, 192 in Kinzhals, and 405 in Kalibrs, according to Zelenskyy.

Zelenskyy went on to list several specific components that are made in the West.

Zelenskyy further said that at least 50 different microelectronic components in each Shahed are produced in China and Taiwan.
