Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday (September 1) were seen in a huddle, sharing a brief light exchange in a video that surfaced online as world leaders gathered for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Heads of State Council Summit in Tianjin.
Modi and Putin are in China for the summit , which has brought together over 20 global leaders. The second day of the event, hosted by Xi in the northern port city of Tianjin, also features the SCO Plus meeting.

Day 2 is expected to see Modi come face-to-face with Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while a bilateral meeting between Modi and Putin is also on the schedule.
