In a revelation that lays bare the disregard that Vladimir Putin has for Donald Trump, it has emerged that the US president had warned the Russian leader that he would “bomb the shit out of Moscow” if Russia would invade Ukraine.
In February 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine regardless of Trump’s warning — and Trump has obviously not nothing to punish Putin .
Despite promising to end Russia’s war on Ukraine within 24 hours of assuming office, Trump has failed to even strike a temporary ceasefire deal between the two sides in nearly six months of his second term.
The revelation has come at a time when Russia has ramped up attacks on Ukraine with near-daily aerial assaults involving hundreds of missiles and drones. ‘If you go into Ukraine, I’m going to bomb the shit out of Moscow’
In an audio published by CNN, Trump is heard telling donors that he warned Putin that he would “bomb the shit out of Moscow” if the Russian leader would invade Ukraine.
“With Putin I said, ‘If you go into Ukraine, I’m going to bomb the shit out of Moscow. I’m telling you I have no choice.’ And then [Putin] goes, like, ‘I don’t believe you.’ But he believed me 10 per cent,” said Trump.

Trump further said that he made a similar warning to Chinese leader Xi Jinping about the invasion of Taiwan.
“He thought I was crazy,” Trump said about Xi.
