"We have already signed the first contracts for the Su-57," Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheyev told Russian reporters, highlighting significant international interest in the aircraft.
The Su-57, developed by Sukhoi, is Russia's premier fifth-generation stealth fighter, designed for air superiority and attack missions. It features advanced avionics, low radar visibility, and the capability to carry a variety of precision-guided weapons. The aircraft's artificial intelligence system assists pilots by managing certain flight operations and weapon preparations.
Sergey Chemezov, CEO of Russia's state tech corporation Rostec, emphasized the Su-57's combat performance, stating it is the only fifth-generation aircraft globally that has demonstrated exceptional capabilities across all combat scenarios. He also noted the fighter's survivability, attributed to its low radar signature and advanced onboard defensive systems.
The Su-57E, the export variant, was a focal point of Russia's display at Airshow China. Rostec highlighted its ability to deploy advanced precision weapons and maintain a minimal radar signature.
