Russian President Vladimir Putin will soon visit India, the Kremlin confirmed on Tuesday. The schedule of his trip is currently being worked out.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that the exact dates of Putin’s visit will be announced soon, according to Sputnik News.
“I hope soon we’ll work out the precise dates of his visit… Of course, after two visits of Prime Minister Modi to Russia, now we have a visit of President to India, so we’re looking forward to it,” the spokesperson said.

Putin’s visit comes months after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s official trip to Russia in July. Last month, the Russian leader met PM Modi on the sidelines of the 16th BRICS Summit in Kazan.
