Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday that Indian tech used Operation Sindoor brought Pakistan “to its knees” within hours. The proclamation from the Indian prime minister came while he was speaking at the foundation-laying ceremony of Bengaluru Metro’s Phase-3 project.

In his address, PM Modi emphasised that the operation presented a new face of India to the world as the military demonstrated its capabilities to strike and destroy terror hubs located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

“The world has seen for the first time India’s new face during Operation Sindoor, where the Indian military demonstrated the ability to destroy the terror hubs by targeting them deep inside Pakistan and bringing Pakistan to its knees within a few hours,” PM Modi said at the Sunday event.

“Our technology and the strength of Make in India are behind the success of Operation Sindoor,” he added. PM Modi also drew a parallel between the rise of India and the growth of Bengaluru, highlighting the city’s role in the global IT sector. “We are witnessing Bengaluru emerge as a true symbol of New India’s rise, a city that has proudly placed India on the global IT map. The driving force behind Bengaluru’s remarkable success story is the exceptional talent and ingenuity of its people,” he said.
