India-born Google CEO Sundar Pichai met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday on the sidelines of the AI Action Summit in Paris.
During the meet, Pichai emphasised on the “incredible opportunities” that artificial intelligence (AI) will bring to India.
“Delighted to meet with PM Narendra Modi today while in Paris for the AI Action Summit. We discussed the incredible opportunities AI will bring to India and ways we can work closely together on India’s digital transformation,” Pichai said.

“Delighted to meet with PM @narendramodi today while in Paris for the AI Action Summit. We discussed the incredible opportunities AI will bring to India and ways we can work closely together on India’s digital transformation,” Pichai said in a post on X, sharing glimpses of the meeting.
The meeting took place as Modi was in Paris on February 10-11 to co-host the AI Action Summit at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron.
