Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet newly sworn-in US President Donald Trump next week, NBC News reported, citing White House officials.
Netanyahu will be the first foreign leader to meet President Trump in his second term of office.

A White House official told NBC News that Trump had extended an invitation to Netanyahu to visit the US, and the invitation was accepted by his office.
Netanyahu’s office said that the meeting is set to take place on February 4.
Earlier, Trump said on Monday that Netanyahu would be coming to Washington soon for a meeting with him. “I look forward to discussing how we can bring peace to Israel and its neighbors, and efforts to counter our shared adversaries,” Trump wrote in a letter to Netanyahu on Tuesday.
