Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s two-day visit to France bore several outcomes that are expected to strengthen ties between the two countries within the next few years.
On Wednesday, PM Modi inaugurated the Indian Consulate in Marseilles alongside French President Emmanuel Macron.
The prime minister also visited the Mazargues War Cemetery to pay tribute to the Indian soldiers who were part of the First World War.
PM Modi’s trip to France, which is on its last leg, was a culmination of the advanced India-France relationship as he shared decisive moments with President Macron, a sign of growing friendship with Paris. Apart from co-chairing the AI Action Summit, PM Modi and his “friend” Macron sat down together to discuss ways through which the relationship can prosper.
