At least 11 people have been injured in a mass shooting at Amazura nightclub in Queens, New York, on Wednesday.

A report by amNY quoted law enforcement sources as saying that the gunfire was reported around 11:20 pm on January 1 near the Amazura event hall at 91-12 144th Place in Jamaica, within the confines of the 103rd Precinct.

Amazura is said to have an expansive interior with a capacity for 4,000 people and it often hosts DJs and live performances.

Several units of New York Police Department (NYPD) have rushed in the event hall area and established a large crime scene, the report said.

The police have discovered multiple shell casings at 91 Avenue and 144 Place, establishing an additional crime scene.

Nearby roads have been closed as the police expanded the crime scene area and deployed all available units to Amazura and Sutphin Blvd.

According to a report by Citizen, police have identified a white BMW potentially involved in the shooting incidents and are investigating further.

As per the report the cops are investigating a gray Infiniti Q50 sedan with New Jersey plates and red interior, potentially linked to the shooting incidents.

A report by New York Post quoted sources as saying that the victims of the Queens night club mass shooting were rushed to area hospitals including Long Island Jewish Hospital and Cohen’s Children Medical Center.

The NYPD, meanwhile, confirmed none of the victims are in critical condition and all are expected to survive.
