US President Donald Trump has issued “full, complete, and unconditional” pardons to several of his former allies, including former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, for their involvement in attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results.
Justice Department Pardon Attorney Ed Martin said the pardons also cover former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, lawyers John Eastman, Kenneth Chesebro, and Sidney Powell, as well as longtime Trump adviser Boris Epshteyn.

South Korean prosecutors on Monday indicted former President Yoon Suk Yeol on new charges of aiding the enemy, accusing him of ordering drone flights over North Korea to bolster plans for declaring martial law.
North Korea claimed last year that it had “proven” South Korea flew drones to drop propaganda leaflets over Pyongyang—an allegation that Seoul’s military has neither confirmed nor denied.
China said Monday it would suspend sanctions against US subsidiaries of Hanwha Ocean, one of South Korea’s largest shipbuilders, as a fragile trade truce between Washington and Beijing continued to take shape.
The United States and China have been involved in a volatile trade and tariff war for months, but agreed to walk back some punitive measures after leaders Xi Jinping and Donald Trump met last month in South Korea.
The 27th Amendment in Pakistan institutionalizes Army Chief Asim Munir as the country's czar, reshaping civil-military relations and command structures. Army chiefs now outrank Air Force and Navy chiefs and are equal to the president. The amendment is expected to pass within weeks.
