Iran has warned that it will target Israel’s secret nuclear facilities if Israel carries out any acts of aggression against the Islamic Republic.
The statement, issued by Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), emphasised that the country is prepared to take decisive action in response to any Israeli offensive.
The SNSC described recent achievements by Iranian forces as part of a well-coordinated intelligence operation, designed to counter enemy propaganda and strengthen the country’s defense capabilities.
“The Iranian forces’ intelligence operations and achievements are a key part of a strategic plan to counter Israel’s aggression,” the statement read.
The Council highlighted the efforts of Iran’s Armed Forces in maintaining an operational balance in relation to Israel’s military capabilities. “The Israeli target list is on the table of our Armed Forces,” the statement said, indicating that Israel’s clandestine nuclear sites are part of the list.
Iran also pointed to a significant trove of secret Israeli documents recently acquired, stating that access to this information has strengthened the country’s intelligence and operational abilities. “Today, Iranian forces are capable of responding immediately to any aggression by the Zionist regime against our nuclear facilities,” the statement added.
The SNSC also warned that Iran could retaliate against Israel’s military and economic infrastructure, tailoring its response to the nature of the aggression. The statement showed that Iran is prepared for any eventuality, bolstered by its enhanced capabilities.

On Sunday (June 8), Iran claimed that it had Iranian authorities had seized an “important treasury” of information related to Israel’s nuclear program.
The next day, Tehran threatened to put the information it had claimed it has in public domain.
Now, the country is threatening to attack the nuclear facilities that it says it has knowledge of. All these developments have come amid increased scrutiny of Iran’s own uranium enrichment programme.
