Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary-General Naim Qassem has fled Lebanon and is now living in Tehran as Israel continues to pound the country, leaving many of the terror group’s leaders dead including its chief Hassan Nasrallah.
A report by UAE-based Erem News quoted an Iranian source as saying that Qassem left the country in an Iranian aircraft a week ago. The secretary-general fled Lebanon on board the plane used by Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. His transfer was ordered by leaders of the Islamic Republic who apprehended his assassination.
The source said that Qassem gave three speeches after the death of Nasrallah and while two of them were delivered from Beirut, the third one was recorded in Tehran.
