In the wake of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s departure from Bangladesh, protesters stormed her official residence, Ganabhaban, in Dhaka.
Following her flight from the country, demonstrators were seen looting various items from the premises.
Reports and images circulating on social media depict individuals taking furniture, livestock, and food items, including rabbits, chickens, and fish.
Some protesters were photographed with pets, such as a German Shepherd puppy, and others were captured enjoying meals like biryani and korma inside the residence.

Members of the Awami League faced severe attacks from the protesters, who accuse the party and its student wing, the Awami Jubo League, of violence against demonstrators.

The violence on Sunday was marked as the deadliest day, with at least 94 fatalities, followed by 56 more deaths on Monday. The clashes involved both supporters and opponents of the government, leading to widespread unrest. The total number of casualties since the protests began in early July has reached at least 356, according to an AFP tally based on official sources and hospital reports.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s 15-year rule concluded as she fled the country amid escalating violence. The military has announced plans to form an interim government in response to the ongoing crisis.
