Vivan Jenna Wilson, the trans-daughter of Elon Musk, has refuted the claim he was tricked into signing consent forms for her gender-affirming treatment.
Wilson has spoken out for the first time in the wake of Musk’s claim that she was “dead” and was “killed” by what he called the woke virus. In an interview with author Jordan P Peterson, he had said that he was tricked into signing the consent form for her gender-affirming treatment in 2020.
In an interview with NBC News, Wilson said that was not the case and Musk studied the forms thoroughly before signing.
As per the state law, consent of both the parents was required for the treatment and Wilson said no trickery was involved. She went on to accuse Musk of being an absentee father throughout her childhood who was cruel to her and reacted angrily to her. She also said he pressured to be masculine as she showed feminine traits as a child.
Wilson is one of the 12 known children of Musk. Her mother is Justine Wilson, ex-wife of Musk with whom he has five more children.
‘He read the forms at least twice’
Wilson said Musk studied the consent forms at least twice.
Wilson said that he studied the forms once in her presence and once more by himself before signing them.
She told NBC, “He was not by any means tricked. He knew the full side effects.”
Refuting her father’s claim, Wilson father said he must have thought she would not respond to her comments but she could not let his remarks slide as he had crossed a line this time.

Musk was cold and cruel father, says Wilson
Wilson said Musk was never a supportive father and was absent throughout her childhood. She said even though he had half custody of her, he was there for just 10 per cent of the time and that was a “generous” assessment.
Wilson further said Musk was cruel and cold to her. She told NBC that he left her and her siblings with either their mother or nannies and berated her when he was there.
Wilson told NBC, “He was cold. He’s very quick to anger. He is uncaring and narcissistic.”
Wilson said he pressured her to be more masculine. She said he wanted her to deeper her voice as a child.
Narrating an incident of what she termed Musk’s cruelty to her, she told NBC, “I was in fourth grade. We went on this road trip that I didn’t know was actually just an advertisement for one of the cars —I don’t remember which one— and he was constantly yelling at me viciously because my voice was too high. It was cruel.”
What did Musk say about Wilson?
In the interview with Peterson, Musk said that she lost his son. Referring to Wilson by her gender assigned at birth and her former name, he said his son was “dead, killed by the woke mind virus”.
Musk further claimed that he was tricked into approving the gender-affirming treatment for Wilson.
“I was tricked into doing this. It wasn’t explained to me that puberty blockers are actually just sterilization drugs. I lost my son, essentially. They call it ‘deadnaming’ for a reason. The reason they call it ‘deadnaming’ is because your son is dead, so my son, Xavier, is dead, killed by the woke mind virus.”

Musk said that he vowed to defeat the “woke mind virus” after her daughter’s transition.
“So I vowed to destroy the woke mind virus after that and we’re making some progress,” said Musk.
Wilson has severed ties Musk in 2022 and legally changed her name to drop Musk and adopt her mother’s name.
“I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form,” said Wilson at the time of changing her name.
