After Justin Trudeau went after Indian diplomats, US-based Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun now wants Canada to go after MP Chandan Arya.
Pannun, a designated terrorist, is associated with the Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), another designated unlawful organisation associated with the Khalistan movement.
Pannun frequently publishes calls for violence against India and Indian diplomats abroad. Now, he has went after Arya, an MP of the Liberal Party, who has frequently criticised the Khalistan movement.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Pannun said that Canada should investigate Arya for “spewing venom” against the Khalistan movement and being a mouthpiece of India.
Framing Arya as an agent of India, Pannun said, “Hate speech by Indo Canadian MP Chandra Arya against peaceful pro-Khalistan activism is an apt example of mouthpieces of Indian government funded and propelled by Indian diplomatic missions. In July 2023, when pro-Khalistan Sikhs demanded investigation of Indian Diplomats’ role in the assassination Nijjar, MP a known admirer and follower of PM Modi, spewed venom against peaceful Khalistan Referendum in Canada as “Snakes in our backyard”.
Pannun also praised Trudeau for following his advice to go after India and said the Canadian premier’s actions “demonstrated his government’s unwavering commitment to bringing to justice those who facilitated the assassination of a Canadian Citizen Hardeep Singh Nijjar Canadian on Canadian soil irrespective of the pressure Trudeau Government faced from Modi Government and pro Hindutva lobby in Canada (sic)”.

More ShortsEven as top Indian diplomats in Canada, including High Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Verma, are set to leave Canada after Trudeau plunged the bilateral relationship to the nadir after implicating them in an ongoing investigation, Pannun said that the SFJ would continue tracking him.
To continue tracking Pannun even outside of Canada, Pannun announced the allocation of $500,000.
“Allocating a hefty budget of $500,000, Sikhs For Justice announced that even after Verma’s expulsion and departure from Canada, it will continue tracking his movements and whereabouts in pursuit of bringing him to justice for his role in the assassination of Shaheed Nijjar,” said Pannun on X.
The Khalistan movement refers to the separatist movement to carve out a separate homeland for Sikhs out of India called Khalistan. The movement waged a bloody terrorist movement in India that ebbed in the 1990s. Even though the movement ebbed in India, it found safe havens abroad, most notably in Canada where the movement found a fresh lease of life with the advent of Trudeau.
To appease a segment of the electorate, Trudeau has patronised the Khalistani movement since coming to power and has allowed them to function on Canadian soil and plan and execute anti-India separatist as well as terrorist activities. Not just the Khalistani movement but Trudeau has allowed anti-India organised crime syndicates to function on Canadian soil.
Such activities by Trudeau since coming to power had made India-Canada relations tense for years. Then, last year, when Trudeau accused India of killing Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a designated terrorist part of the Khalistani movement, and went after a senior Indian official at the Indian mission in Ottawa, he plunged the relationship to a new low. Then, with his latest move to go after Indian diplomats again, Trudeau plunged the relationship to the all-time low.
